Fullโข Lunar Eclipse to be Broadcast Live from โRussia on September 7th

Skywatchers in Russia will have the opportunity to witness โขa full lunar eclipse on September 7, 2025, with a live broadcast scheduled to โbeginโฃ at 19:30 Moscow time (approximately 7:30 PM Moscow time) and conclude around โค24:00โ (midnight).
While lunar eclipses canโฃ occur upโ to twice a year, complete immersions of the moon inโข Earth’s full shadow areโค rarer events. The โคlast time all phases of a full lunar eclipse were visible in Russia was in 2018. The next opportunity will not โคarrive until December 31, 2028.
Broadcast Details and Equipment
the broadcast will feature clear โขskies โand is being captured using a telescope-ahromate 80/400, coupled with a โZWO ASI 482MC planetary camera and a โคUV-IR Cut lightโค filter. โImage capture is being managed by โฃSharpcap 4.1 software.
Viewers can expect adjustments to shooting modes during the stream to optimize image quality based on changing light conditions.The stream will be transmitted to Rutub using the OBS โคprogram, โขconfigured according to Rutub’sโ recommended settings.โค The lunar image will be displayed withinโค the Sharpcap window, and โoccasional text commentary โwill be visibleโ during the โbroadcast.
A recording ofโ the โstream will be available for later โคviewing.
