Shocking Revelation: Russian President Putin Links Boss Wagner’s Death to Grenade Discovery

Jakarta –

Russian President Vladimir Putin reveals shocking new findings regarding the death of boss Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin. Putin said Prigozhin’s death after the plane he was traveling in crashed in Russia was related to the discovery of a grenade.

Reported by AFP, Friday (6/10/2023), Prigozhin and several other top Wagner Group officials died in a plane crash in the Tver region, Russia, on August 23. The cause of the crash is still being investigated by Moscow, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov last month saying ‘deliberate cruelty’ could not be ruled out.

Wagner’s mercenaries played an important role in the capture of the strategic city of Bakhmut from Ukrainian forces last May, which made Prigozhin a household name.

However, Prigozhin staged a brief rebellion against the Russian military leadership in mid-June, which resulted in a deal with the Kremlin for him to move to Belarus.

Under the deal, Wagner’s mercenaries avoided criminal prosecution and were given the option of moving to Belarus with their leader, joining the Russian Armed Forces, or retiring.

Critics of the Kremlin and Western countries have said the crash of the plane on Russian territory was suspicious.

Jakarta –

The character of Russian President Vladimir Putin was exposed by a former security guard at Putin’s residence. The former Kremlin security guard revealed that Putin never trusted his own bodyguards.

The former security guard served at Putin’s residence in the Crimea region. He himself is known to have fled to Ecuador.

Reported by Radio Free Europe, Tuesday (12/9/2023), Vitaly Brizhaty previously worked for the Federal Protection Service (FSO), the Kremlin’s security guard agency, in the region of the Crimea Peninsula, which was annexed from Ukraine in 2014.

In an interview with independent Russian media, Dozhd TV, Brizhaty openly stated that he was against the war that Russia started in Ukraine. Not only that, he also called the Kremlin leader a war criminal.

Brizhaty is known to be the second FSO member to flee abroad and openly criticize Putin for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Brizhaty previously worked for security at Olivye, one of Putin’s two palaces in Crimea.

Kim Jong Un’s Meeting with Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok

Jakarta –

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un left Pyongyang to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. North Korean state media said Kim left by train.

“Left here on his train on Sunday afternoon to visit the Russian Federation,” reported the official Korean Central News Agency, reported by AFP, Tuesday (12/9/2023).

Experts believe the upcoming meeting, in Russia’s far eastern city of Vladivostok, may focus on arms deals. Putin reportedly sought weapons from North Korea for Moscow’s war in Ukraine.

The visit came amid warnings from the United States (US) that the two leaders could reach a nuclear deal.

Reported by CNN, Monday (11/9), the US government last week said Kim and Putin’s meeting was potentially part of Russia’s efforts to find new suppliers of weapons to be used in the war against Ukraine.

North Korea and Russia have not specified when and where Kim Jong Un will meet Putin. Russia and North Korea have also not explained what agenda the two leaders will discuss. The Kremlin only stated that Kim would make an official visit to Russia in the near future.

President of Brazil assures Putin will not be arrested at G20 Summit in Brazil 2024

Jakarta –

The President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, said President of RussiaVladimir Putin will not be arrested if he attends the G20 Summit meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2024. Lula believes Putin can easily go to Brazil.

Reported by Reuters, Sunday (10/9/2023), Lula said this on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in India, when interviewed by the Firstpost news program. Lula said Putin would be invited to next year’s event, and added that he himself planned to attend a meeting of the BRICS bloc of developing countries scheduled in Russia before the meeting in Rio.

“I’m sure Putin can go to Brazil easily,” Lula said.

“What I can tell you is that if I were President of Brazil, and he came to Brazil, there is no way he would be arrested,” he said.

It is known that the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Putin in March, accusing him of committing war crimes by illegally deporting hundreds of children from Ukraine. Russia denies its troops were involved in war crimes or forcibly taking Ukrainian children.

Meanwhile, Putin has repeatedly not attended international meetings, and was not present at the G20 meeting in Delhi. But Putin sent Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to the event.

Brazil is a signatory to the Rome Statute which was the forerunner to the founding of the ICC. Lula’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

On Saturday, the G20 countries adopted a consensus declaration that did not condemn Russia for the war in Ukraine, but called on all countries not to use force to seize territory.

Moscow: Putin Calls Ukraine Attack on Kerch Bridge a Terrorist Attack

Moscow: Putin Calls Ukraine Attack on Kerch Bridge a Terrorist Attack

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com July 17, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Moscow –

Russian President Vladimir Putin call attack Ukraine on the Kerch Bridge as a terrorist attack. The main bridge connects the incorporated Crimea peninsula to the Russian mainland and is of immense strategic and symbolic importance to Moscow.

“Tonight another terrorist attack took place on that bridge. As a result of the terrorist attack, the highways on several spans of the Crimea bridge were seriously damaged. As a result, car and train traffic was temporarily stopped,” Putin told a meeting with officials, as reported by CNN, Tuesday (18/7/2023).

Putin asked his country’s authorities, including the FSB, to investigate the incident and called for measures to secure the strategically important transport facilities from future attacks.

“It is important to comprehensively assess the damage caused and start restoration work as soon as possible,” he said.

Putin said that there would be a Russian response to the attack. “The Ministry of Defense is preparing relevant proposals,” Putin said.

Putin also claimed there was no military interest in destroying the bridge.

“This is an unreasonable crime from an insignificant point of view because the Crimean bridge has long been disused for military transport and brutal since innocent civilians were killed,” he stressed.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Marat Khusnullin, said that the straight bridge struts for Kerch were not damaged by the explosion. He claimed divers were completing inspections of the bridge and a decision on possibly launching car traffic would be made within two hours.

Early Monday, a source from the Ukrainian security service (SBU) said that the attack on the Crimea Bridge was a joint operation between the SBU and the Ukrainian navy. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because they had not received permission to speak on the tape.

As is known, an explosion rocked the Crimea bridge that connects the region in eastern Ukraine with mainland Russia. At least two people were killed and a girl was seriously injured by the explosion that rocked the bridge which was inaugurated directly by President Vladimir Putin.

Photos taken by Reuters from the scene show no traffic on the 19-kilometre stretch of highway that connects Crimea — which the Kremlin annexed from Ukraine in 2014 — with Russia.

In addition to the highway, there is also a railroad track on the bridge. Unverified satellite imagery showed the metal railing on the bridge bent, with debris strewn about and a wrecked car visible on the bridge.
