“Tutto l’Universo” Commences Filming in the Marche Region, Championingโข Local Talent
Filming โis underway forโฃ “Tutto l’Universo,” a new feature film being shot across the provinces of Pesaro and Ancona inโค the Marche region โขof Italy. The project, produced by Movie Factory, is notable for โฃits commitment to showcasing both theโฃ region’s landscapes and โฃits โขcinematic professionals.
Producer Francesco Paolo Montini expressed enthusiasm forโค the project, stating, “Aโ film that immediately convinced us for its narrativeโข and โขvisual strength, for the โฃtelling โฃof a great human story common to many people. โคThe same locations proposed, whichโ will be the protagonists of the film, have made โคthe project and will โขmake the film even stronger emotionally.” He highlighted the extensive involvement ofโ local communities,noting that “Many villages and small towns in the Marche where involved in โคthe filming,” and emphasized the film’s authenticityโ through the use of the Marche dialect,”a real film whereโฆthe use of the โMarche dialect will be another element of truth.”
“Tutto l’Universo” marks the directorial debut โขof โฃMatteo damiani, โoriginally from Urbino. Damiani brings a wealth of experience, having worked as an assistant director with prominent filmmakersโข including Andrej Konฤalovskij,โ Robertoโ Faenza, Susanna Nicchiarelli, Daniele Vicari, โand Matteo Rovere, and contributed to TV series such as “Romulus” and โ”Supersex.” His previousโฃ short film,โฃ “L’ultima festa,”โ produced by Movie Factoryโ and Marche โFilm Commission, received significant recognition as the most awarded short ofโค 2022.
The film stars Anna Bellato (“My Mother”, โฃ”I quitโข Whenever I Want – Ad Honorem”, “The valley of Smiles”) in the lead role, alongside Dora Romano (“It Was the Hand of God”, “My Brilliant Friend”, “Immaโค Tataranni”),โ and Majd Mastoura, the French-tunisian actor recognized for winning a Silverโ Bear in Berlin. The cast also includes Marco Learnato, โFabrizio Bartolucci, โSimona Ripari, Valentina Illuminati, โคGiulia Eugeni, Maria Rosa Bastianelli, Alice Pistilli, and Nicolรฒ Marabini.
The narrative centers on Marta, a woman approaching โค50 who has dedicated her life to caring for her mother. Facing โthe prospect โof loneliness as her mother’s health declines, Marta seeks to reclaim lostโข time and โขdiscover her ownโค identity. Theโข film โคexplores themes of transition, โคself-acceptance,โค and the โคcomplexities of becoming anโข adult.
The production boasts a substantial crew,with approximately 20 people working behind the scenes,15 ofโค whom are from the Marche region. Around 14โค actors are โinvolved, 10 hailingโ from โฃthe Marche region, and approximately 100 extras will be utilized. โThis demonstrates a โคstrong โcommitment to the participation and โคvalorization of local professionals, with overโข three-quarters ofโข the technicalโข castโ originating from the Marcheโค region โคand representing various cities within it.
