Texas Woman Found Living with Scottish Forest Community, Claims Happiness Despite โฃFamily Concerns
Jakarta – A 21-year-old woman from Texas, United States, who was reported โmissing three months ago, hasโ been found living with a โcommunity in a Scottish forest and has become โคtheโค concubine of theirโ leader.
Kaura Taylor disappearedโข on May 25, 2025, along with her one-year-old daughter. According โto aโข report from the Dailyโ Mail on August 25, 2025, Taylor was โขlocated living within the Kingdom of Kubala, a forest area near Jedburgh, Scotland,โข unbeknownst to her family.
Taylor entered England on a six-month tourist visa withoutโ informing her relatives of her plans.
In Scotland, she has taken the name asnat, โฃLady Safi of Atehene, โand โlives with Raja Atehene and โhis wife, โฃRatu Nandi.โ Some British media outlets have โขdescribed her role as a servant โto Queen โฃNandi. Photosโข depict her serving King Atehene,โ including offeringโฃ him food and participating in rituals.
The Kingdom of Kubala asserts they are descendants ofโค a lost hebrew tribe who have returned to Scotland to reclaim their โancestral lands.Queenโ Nandi claims that Black people where โฃexpelled โfrom England and Scotland over 400 years ago by Queen Elizabeth I.โข This claim has sparked debate โฃamong historians.Kaura’s family expresses deep concern for her well-being, fearing she might potentially be manipulated.”We are very worried. itโข feels our hearts are destroyed.โ Kaura did not realize that his familyโฃ also cared about him,” her aunt, Teri Allen, told The Independent.
Another โaunt, โVandora Skinner, believes theโข Kingdom is fabricated and views Kaura’s current situation as akin toโค modern concubinage.
The Kingdom of Kubala livesโ aโ simple life in forest tents, bathing in rivers,โ and prioritizing harmony with nature. Despite this, they โmaintain an active presenceโฃ on social media, sharing images โฃof their rituals and media coverage.Kaura, though, refutes herโ family’s โconcerns.โข Through Facebook posts, sheโ states she is happy livingโ with King Atehene and Queen Nandi and accuses herโฃ family inโ Texasโ ofโข childhood abuse. Her family strongly denies these accusations, โstating she grew upโ in a supportive church habitat.
Kaura’s tourist visa is set to expire in November 2025. Her family hopes British immigration authorities will intervene to โfacilitateโ her return home.
