London, December 7, 2023 – A royal commentator has warned that Meghan Markle’s latest โคventure could spell “trouble” for Prince Harry. โขThe Duchess of Sussex โreleased photographs and a video trailer Wednesday night for herโฃ upcoming Netflix Christmas special, “With love, Meghan,”โ coinciding with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ attendance at the Royal โVariety Performance โin London.
The timing of the โคrelease โhas drawn criticism, withโ royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams telling The Express: โ”The timing is execrable and [shows] Harry’s reported offer to share diaries hasn’t got very far.”
Previously, Harry was cautioned against closely following his wife’s business decisions. Former Vanity โFair and Tatler editor-in-chief Tina Brown recently โคstatedโข that Harryโค is not the “brightest bulb” and that his adherence to Meghan’sโ lead has โค”compounded their errors” in Hollywood.
Fitzwilliams questioned the long-term viability of โMarkle’s projects, stating, “Meghan’sโค new trailerโฆneeded Serena Williams or another famous name to enable it toโข reach beyond the smiley, cringey worldโ she has created, which isn’t โlikely to go anywhere new. I strongly doubt that Netflix will want more โof what โshe’s produced so far โคin โ Withโค Love,Meghan,in the New โขYear. You see this and โwonder what is in it for โคthe streaming giant.”
He added that Harry’s appearance in the trailer, whichโ includes a โขkiss between the Duke โand Duchess, โขmay position โฃhim asโ a supporting player in his wife’s ventures. โค”The trouble is, when Meghan’s โfestive show airs, he might potentially be little more then an extra – he should beware, itโฃ may be a signโฆ!”
