ฤeskรก Spoลitelna Tightens Access to Premium Banking, Reducing Perks for Erste Premier Clients
Prague, Czech Republic – ฤeskรก spoลitelna is increasing the requirements for its Erste Premier premium banking service starting in February, making it more challenging for customers to qualify for complimentary access and reducing benefits like lounge access. The changes, announced earlier this week, will impact how clients maintain their premium status and the cost for those who no longer meet the stricter criteria.
The move reflects a broader trend among banks to refine their premium service offerings, focusing on higher-value clients. Currently, customers can access Erste Premier benefits for free by meeting one of three criteria: a combined income and balance threshold, a deposit balance, or a total balance of assets held within ฤeskรก spoลitelna. All three thresholds are set to increase, while the fee for those who don’t qualify will be reduced.

Combined Criterion
* Now: Monthly income from employment or self-employment of at least 70,000 crowns combined with a balance of 250,000 crowns in savings, investments, or loan products within ฤeskรก spoลitelna.
* New (February): Income requirement increases to 80,000 crowns, and the balance criterion rises to 500,000 crowns.
Deposit Criteria
* Now: A balance of at least 2.5 million crowns in deposit and savings accounts.
* New (February): The limit increases to three million crowns.
Balance Criterion
* Now: Total value of savings, investments, or credit products within ฤeskรก spoลitelna of at least four million crowns.
* New (February): The balance criterion limit will increase to 5 million crowns.
For clients who do not meet the new entry conditions, ฤeskรก spoลitelna will reduce the monthly fee for using the Erste Premier service from 2,500 crowns to 1,500 crowns. “While until now clients who did not meet the entry conditions of Erste Premier could use this service for a fee of 2,500 crowns per month, from February the price for using the service will drop to 1,500 crowns,” ฤeskรก spoลitelna press spokesman Filip Hrubรฝ told e15.
