Gaurs Group to Invest ₹100 Crore in Greater Noida Precast Plant | Real Estate News

Gaurs Group, a leading real estate developer in the Delhi-NCR region, will invest Rs 250 crore in establishing a precast manufacturing and modular construction facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the company announced Monday. The initial phase of the project will see an investment of Rs 100 crore dedicated to constructing the precast plant itself.

The move is part of a broader strategy to integrate technology-led construction practices, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce project timelines by approximately 30 percent, according to the company. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalizing the partnership was signed on February 19, 2026, with Elematic India, the Indian arm of Finland-based Elematic Group, a global provider of precast concrete technology.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Finland’s Ambassador to India, Kimmo Lähdevirta. The agreement was formalized by Veshesh Gaur, Director of Gaurs Group, and Chander Dutta, Managing Director of Elematic India, alongside Teppo Voutilainen, CEO of Elematic Oyj, Finland.

The planned 5-acre facility will manufacture advanced precast concrete components, including slabs, columns, beams, and walls. Gaurs Group anticipates the plant will be operational within six months. The company has already placed an advance order with Jindal Elematic, Alwar, for 45,000 modular bathrooms and 10,000 kitchen pods, representing an order book valued at Rs 150 crore, to be used in its ongoing projects.

“Construction technology is becoming increasingly important as the scale and complexity of residential developments continue to grow,” said Veshesh Gaur. “Our partnership with Elematic will enable us to integrate advanced precast manufacturing into our construction processes, improving efficiency, quality control and project timelines.”

Gaurs Group aims to shorten project delivery times by six months to a year through the implementation of this pre-cast technology. Precast construction involves manufacturing and assembling key structural and utility components off-site in a controlled environment before installing them on location.
