Columbus police fatally shot a robbery suspect inโ the University District early Sunday morning, authorities said. Theโ shooting occured near โฃthe intersection of North High Street and East 8thโข Avenue โaround 3 a.m., prompting a temporary street closure and an ongoing investigation.
The man, whose identity hasโ not yet been released, was transported to Grant Medicalโ Center in critical condition and later died, according to columbus Police spokesperson Sergeant Davidโ Fuqua. โNo officers were injured in the incident.
