โThe Plateau,โ as his fans call him, has a long history of success. Amr Abdel Basset Abdel Aziz Diab was born on October 11, 1961. He made his first appearance on July 23, 1967 on the local radio of Port Said. He joined the Higher Institute of Music in 1982, but dropped out of school in the third year.
Amr Diab sang for the first time in a year on Egyptian radio, where he sang the national anthem (My Country, My Country), and the governor of Port Said gave him his guitar for the beauty of his voice.
