New Feature Enhances User Experiance for Digital Subscribers
A recent update to the digital platform aims to provide a more personalized and engaging experience for its users. The changes focus on tailoring content and interactions based on user subscription status and geographical location.
The platform now dynamically adjusts its offerings, distinguishing between users who are subscribed to premium services and those who are not. This distinction is reflected in the user interface and the types of content or features made available. As an example, a user identified as a “prime” subscriber will see a “paid” status, while others will be marked as “free.”
In addition to subscription status, the system also leverages geolocation data to further customize the user journey. By default, users are assigned to India (‘IN’) if their location cannot be steadfast, but the system can recognize and utilize specific country codes from available location information.
These user attributes, including subscription status and geolocation, are then passed to an integrated survey and feedback tool. This allows for more targeted feedback collection and perhaps more relevant user surveys. the integration ensures that user data is updated whenever the platform’s visitor traits are set, either instantly or upon the readiness of the survey tool.
The implementation of these features is part of an ongoing effort to improve user engagement and satisfaction. The platform’s development team has also incorporated mechanisms to dynamically load campaign-specific tracking and analytics. This includes support for Google Ads (gtag) events and Facebook Pixel (fbevents), enabling more effective measurement of marketing campaign performance.
Furthermore, the platform’s configuration can be managed through a centralized settings system. This system allows for the activation or deactivation of various features, including the survey tool, based on specific campaign activities or site sections. In scenarios where initial configuration is not immediately available, the system is designed to fetch these settings from a remote service, ensuring that features are enabled based on the most current data.
The ability to fetch settings dynamically allows for flexibility in managing user-facing features. Such as, the visibility of certain survey sections can be adjusted based on whether a user is a premium subscriber or not, ensuring that feedback mechanisms are relevant to the user’s experience.
