TUCSON, Ariz. – Initial results from Election Day across southern Arizona indicate a strong showing for Miranda Schubert in the Ward 6 city council race andโข widespread support for several key propositions โคon local ballots. Asโข of the frist vote count, Schubert leadsโข with 67% โขof the vote โagainstโ Jay Tolkoff.
These results signal potentialโ shifts in local governance and significant investment in education โand โฃinfrastructure across the region. Votersโ weighed in on school โfunding overrides and bond measures, asโ wellโ as a comprehensive city planning update, and โa critical public safety measure in Cochiseโค County.

Four propositions were on the ballot for Tucson voters:

* โ Prop. 416 – Sunnyside Unified – โ$120M Bondโค Election: Leading with 58% of the vote.
* Prop. 417 – Plan Tucson 2025: โ Leading with 62%โ of the vote.
