Prague,Czech Republic – A new Czech fantasy film,The Birth of the Alchemist,a continuation of the popular Princess Enchanted in Time series,will arrive in cinemas,offering a taleโ celebratingโค courage and embracing individuality. The film features over 500 visual effects, โค14 main roles, and 30 โsupporting roles, and was filmed โacross multiple locations in the Czech Republic, including emauzy, โขToฤnรญkโค Castle, Slavicรญ โครบdolรญ, the ลepor โโopen-airโฃ museum, and Barrandov Studios.
The film’sโ creators emphasizeโ the story’s themes of mystery, excitement, and the courage โขto be different,โ returning audiences to the โworld established in theโฃ Princess enchanted in Time films. Screenwriter, co-director, and composer lukรกลก Daniel paลรญk โขnotes, “It’s a mysterious and excitingโ story fullโ of surprises. And in addition, after years we โare returning to the world of Princess Enchanted โฃin Time.” The production notably involvedโ fans of the original โfilms as extras.
Actor Roman โคZach, โportraying the alchemist Archivalda, describedโ the challenging but rewarding process of filmingโ scenes requiring extensiveโ visualโฃ effects: “A lot ofโฃ trick scenes take โคplace in front of a โgreenโ screenโฆOn the set, it โtruly seems almost absurd, but when you see the finished result after the work of the tricksters, it โฃlooksโค interesting and believable.”
Cyril the Good, โคanother actor involved in the project, praisedโฃ the film’s ambition, stating, “I โthink that a similar fantasy fairy tale has notโค yet been created in our countryโฆThe way the creators โtry to build an entire magical โฃuniverse seems to me to be truly remarkable in the Czech environment.”
