Eddie โขVedder surprised fans atโฃ the Ohana Festival in dana Point, California, with unexpectedโฃ coversโ of Devo’s “Whip It” and Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll”โฃ during his Saturday night set. The performance showcased Vedder’s eclectic musical tastes and willingness to reinterpret iconic songs, addingโ a unique spin โขto the festival’s lineup.
The ohanaโข Festival,โ known forโ its diverse range ofโ artists andโค communal atmosphere, provided the backdrop for Vedder’s impromptu cover โขselections. These additions โคtoโฃ his setlist, alongside renditions of Pearl Jam โclassics and otherโข artists’ work, highlightโ Vedder’s โcontinued exploration โฃof musical boundaries and his engagement with a broad spectrum of influences.the festival continues today and tomorrowโฃ with performances by Hozier, Leon โคBridges, Green โDay, Cage the Elephant and Wetโ Leg.
Vedder also debuted full-bandโ versions of “Setting Forth” and “No Ceiling” โฃfrom hisโข 2007 Into the Wild โขsoundtrack withโค Earthlings,โ marking the first time these songs have been performed live in that format.
