Alun Group Acquiresโค StartSe,โ Accelerates Push into โExecutive Educationโค & Billion-Real Revenue Target
Sรฃo Paulo, Brazil – The Alun group, formed by the recent โunion of Alura, FIAP, โขandโ PM3, hasโ acquired StartSe, a move designed to bolster โits executive education offerings and accelerate its path to R$1 billion in annual revenue. The acquisition, announced recently, positions Alun to capitalize on growing โmarket โoptimism fueled by anticipated interestโ rate cuts and triumphant โฃtech IPOs.
Previously forecasting a R$1 billion revenue โgoal by 2027, Alun now aims โขto โคachieve this milestone by theโฃ end of 2026.This accelerated timeline is driven in โคpart by the addition of StartSe, following a combined 2024 revenue of R$560 millionโ for Alura, FIAP, and โคPM3. The group anticipates 40% growth in 2025,further โboostedโ by theโ integration of StartSe.
“Theyโข have an admirable ability to create demand and not only respond to whatโฃ the market asks,” said Alun co-founder,Juliano tubino,regarding the acquisition of StartSe.He also highlighted the acquisition’s impact on Alun’s โgoal of trainingโค 15โ million peopel by 2030, upโ from a current rangeโข of seven million.
StartSe will maintain its self-reliantโ operation under its existing leadership, with founder and CEOโค Junior Borneli joining the Alun group’sโค board.Borneli stated, “More than teaching โขmodern concepts, we want to prepareโค high leadershipโฃ to lead critical โtransformations in scenarios ofโ uncertainty,โค creating adaptive organizational cultures thatโค can ensure business perpetuity.”
The first collaborative product,โ StartSe Universityโฃ -โค a post-graduate program for C-level โคexecutives – โis currently under development. The program aimsโ to deliver globally competitiveโข business โeducation,drawing contentโ and instructors from Silicon Valley and China,and will include both classes and โขinternational visits to tech hubs.โข Juliano stated theโฃ ambition is to “make a โขglobal high โขlevel business to compete withโ the largest global educational institutions, MIT, Stanford.”
Alun plans โan โฃinitial โmulti-pronged sales approach,โข directing customers to โrelevant offerings โฃwithin โthe โecosystem based on their initial point of contact. A unifiedโฃ sales strategyโฃ is expected to be implemented in the second half of 2025, overseen by Chiefโ Revenueโข Officerโ Tavane Gurdos.
Juliano also hinted at further potential acquisitions, stating, “The pipe isโ good,” though no additional movements are expected in โ2025.
