‘Yellowstone’ Creator Taylor Sheridanโ toโ Leaveโข Paramount โคfor NBCUniversal in โLandmark Deal
LOS โฃANGELES,โข CA – taylor Sheridan, teh acclaimedโข writer and โdirector behind โthe โblockbuster seriesโฃ Yellowstone โand its prequel spin-offs,โ is set to depart Paramount โขfor NBCUniversal following a thorough โfilm andโข televisionโฃ deal. Sheridan,55,co-created Yellowstone,1883,and 1923,and alsoโ developed Tulsa King,Special Ops: Lioness,and Mayorโ of Kingstown. The five-yearโฃ agreement with NBCUniversalโ will begin on January 1,โ 2029, after his current contract with Paramountโข concludesโค at the end of 2028.
Joining Sheridan in theโ move isโ his producing partner,โ David โGlasser, โฃand theirโ production company, 101 Studios. Their new โขcontract with NBCUniversal is โคslated โขto โคbegin in earlyโฃ 2026, following the fulfillment ofโค existing obligations toโ Paramount, โคaccording toโ Deadline.
Sheridan has consistently emphasized his commitment to creative control throughoutโ his career.In โคa 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, heโฃ stated, โข”I spent the first 37 years of my โlife compromising. Despite Sheridan’s impendingโค departure, Paramount remains heavily invested in theโ Yellowstone universe. The upcoming spin-off, The Madison, featuring Michelleโค Pfeiffer, Patrick J.
