The Styrian FPÖ sees the measure in Salzburg as “further evidence that the previous hospital centralization plans are finally being abandoned”. They called on Governor Christopher Drexler (ÖVP) to question the Salzburg approach as soon as possible and to contact the other neighboring federal states. The Salzburg measure is a “worrying development”, after all, some places in Styria are much closer to Tamsweg than to the nearest hospital in their own state. According to the FPÖ, performance reductions and centralization in the Styrian hospital sector are a mistake. If the Tamsweger Hospital’s approach were to find imitators in Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Burgenland and Carinthia, then Styria would face a health crisis of unimagined proportions.

“Vienna would still be Vienna” – Kickl to Waldhäusl: “What’s the problem with that?”
Discussion about the new Lower Austrian state government: Mikl-Leitner at a distance
Then the governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner (ÖVP), also intervened: “As far as the statement is concerned, I think one word is enough, namely otherworldly.” It remains to be seen whether Waldhäusl can also belong to the next state government as before. She referred to ongoing discussions with the other parties, “where it is subsequently a question of who will be given real responsibility”. Waldhäusl had stated several times that he wanted to stay on. “If someone says they want to become one, it is not yet certain whether they will become one at all,” says Mikl-Leitner. The bodies of the FPÖ would have to decide that internally.
Future concept is missing – “Osttangent is not a solution for the south of Linz”
Hajart still wants to take advantage of the passing time
“If we still have to start such an extensive EIA procedure, where the mere preparation of documents will take a year and a half, two years, then the procedure takes place, then there are improvement orders, etc., it means that it takes time, I say : Let’s use the time and create a traffic concept for the future now,” says Hajart. Yes, but how could such a “transport concept of the future” look like for the south of Linz?, asks not only the “Krone”. City councilor Hajart, do you have any ideas or ideas?
