Chelsea Olivia: 4 Procedures & Health Update 2026

Jakarta – Actress Chelsea Olivia underwent four medical procedures at Island Hospital in Malaysia on February 27th and 28th, 2026, including hysteroscopy, polypectomy, dilation and curettage (D&C) and endometrial resection, her husband, Glenn Alinskie, revealed via social media. The procedures followed a period of unusual and prolonged menstruation, beginning in January after a trip to Japan.

Olivia initially consulted a gynecologist after experiencing two months of continuous menstruation, according to a post on her Instagram Story. Initial hormone tests and examinations did not reveal any abnormalities, and she was prescribed hormone medication to regulate her cycle. However, after ten days, she reported no improvement, accompanied by increasing fatigue, abdominal pain, and mood swings.

Further examinations by an internist and subsequent blood tests also yielded no conclusive results. A return visit to her gynecologist for IUD removal confirmed no immediate concerns, yet Olivia continued to experience symptoms. She described a noticeable abdominal distension, resembling early pregnancy, despite not being pregnant, along with cramping, fatigue, and occasional dizziness. Over the two-month period, she gained approximately 5 kilograms.

“Perut membengkak, kram, lemas, dan terkadang disertai rasa pusing dalam 2 bulan aku hampir naik bb 5 kg,” Olivia wrote on Instagram, detailing the physical changes she experienced. She also noted experiencing facial and eye swelling, nausea, and other discomforts upon waking.

Seeking further diagnosis, Olivia consulted Dr. Low Kah Pin, a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Island Hospital in Malaysia. An ultrasound revealed the presence of multiple white circles, prompting the need for the four procedures. Glenn Alinskie shared updates on the procedures through his Instagram account, confirming the completion of the hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C, and endometrial resection.

As of Saturday, February 28th, 2026, Olivia is reported to be in stable condition and focusing on recovery, according to reports from detikHOT. The specific underlying condition prompting the surgeries has not yet been publicly disclosed.
