Rainy Weekend Expected for Cleveland Area Amid High humidity
Cleveland, Ohio – A stalled weather front is set to bring scattered showers and storms to the Cleveland region throughout the weekend, accompanied by persistent high humidity.
while no single day is predicted to be a complete washout, residents should anticipate intermittent rain. The risk of severe weather remains low, though isolated storms could bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall, potentially causing localized flooding. Lightning is also a concern, so outdoor activities should be approached with caution.
Friday’s forecast includes a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures reaching the mid-80s. Light showers have been observed near the lakeshore, with the best chance for storms developing later in the afternoon south of the lakeshore, notably along the U.S. 30 corridor from Mansfield to Wooster to Canton.
Most of the overnight activity is expected to dissipate, but a few lingering showers are possible as low temperatures hover in the low 70s.
Saturday and Sunday will both feature scattered showers and storms, with high temperatures expected to remain in the mid-80s.
Looking ahead to monday, an isolated shower or storm might occur, but the day is largely expected to be mostly sunny with hotter temperatures climbing near 90 degrees.
The high humidity levels are projected to continue through Tuesday. By Wednesday, humidity levels are expected to begin dropping, continuing into the following weekend. Temperatures will also see a decline, falling into the 70s by Thursday and Friday.
