A stepfather is now facing homicide charges after the death of a minor who authorities say was fatally injured from inflicted blows. Cristian Alexis González Gallego, also known as “Lamp,” initially faced charges of attempted homicide and aggravated domestic violence following an earlier attack on the child. He was denied bail and held in a detention center.
The case escalated tragically wiht the boy’s death, prompting the Prosecutor’s Office to upgrade the charges. González Gallego had previously denied the initial accusations. This growth marks a shift from allegations of attempted harm to a homicide inquiry, impacting the legal proceedings and potential sentencing. The prosecutor’s Office will formally present the revised charges, and the investigation continues to determine the full extent of the stepfather’s actions.
