losโ Angeles โ- Teh inauguralโข ‘Future Ruins’ festival, a groundbreaking event conceived by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor celebrating film and televisionโข composers, has been canceled, organizers announced Friday. The festival had โbeen scheduled for November 8 at โคthe Los Angeles Equestrian center.
The cancellation comes dueโข to “a number of logistical challenges and complications,” accordingโ to a statement posted on the event’s โคTwitter feed.Organizers stated โthey felt unable to โdeliver the experience they โhad envisioned and chose โto โpostpone rather than compromise on โขquality.
The festival was โฃto feature a lineup of prominent film-music composers including John Carpenter, Questlove (performing โthe soundtrack work of Curtis Mayfield), Danny โขElfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, and Hildur Guรฐnadรณttir.
