Team Canada’s 4 Nationsโ Roster โฃRevealed, Featuring โฃHyman and Celebrini
Canadaโข has announced its roster for the upcomingโค 4 โฃNations tournament, with forward Zach Hyman and projected first-overall โpick Macklin Celebrini among those selected by general manager Doug Button andโข coach Rick Johnson.
Theโ defensive โpairings will see Chris Tanev and Cale Makar โform one unit, followed โคby Shea Theodore and Brettโ Pesce. Thomas Chabot will be paired with Colton Parayko,andโ Noah Juulsen will skate alongside Carson Soucy. The finalโค pairing features Jake โBean with Damon Severson.
On defense, Sanheim will pair with Parayko. sanheim earned โa spot โคon Canada’s 4 Nations team after recording six goals and 27 points in his first 57 games, averaging 25:33 of ice time. He has previously represented Canada twice atโ the World hockey Championship,โฃ winning silver in 2022. Parayko, a veteran ofโ Team Canada with three World โHockey Championship appearances (winning silver in 2017), registered 16 goals andโ 36 points in 64โฃ games last seasonโ with โฃa plus-12 rating and has six assists in 16 games this season.
Harley will suit up โฃalongside Montour. Harley joined Canada mid-tournament in relief of Theodore and Morrissey โand appeared in two games, recording an assist. He previously represented Canada at the 2021โ World Juniors, finishing with a โsilver medal, and had a career-high 16 goals and 50 โคpoints with the Stars last season. Montour, the only member of the โคdefense corps not โคon last year’s 4 Nations team, represented Canada atโ the 2025 World Hockey Championship in a fifth-place finish and was part of the โฃPanthers’ Stanley Cup win โin 2024 before โคregistering 18 goals and 41 points in 81 games last season with Seattle.
In net, Jordan Binnington leads the goaltendingโฃ contingent, aiming to replicateโ his triumphant performance from last year’s 4โค Nations tournament were he went 3-1 with aโข 2.37 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.Despite a slowโข start to the currentโ season (3-5-2 with a 3.34 GAA and .859 save percentage),โค Canada is banking on โhis championship experience, having won the Stanley Cup in 2019.
Logan Thompson, currently leadingโ the NHL with aโค 1.61 GAA and rankingโ secondโฃ with a .930 save percentage, will also feature. Thompson was instrumentalโข in the Capitals securingโ the top spot in the Eastern Conference last โseason,going 31-6-6 with a 2.49 GAA and .910 saveโ percentage.โฃ
Rounding out the goaltending group is Darcy Kuemper, who has been solid sinceโค joining the Los Angeles Kings. He went 31-11-7 last season with a 2.02 goals againstโ average and .922 saveโ percentage after beingโ acquired by the Capitals โinโ June of 2024. Kuemper is currently 5-3-3 with โฃa 2.52 GAA and .905 save percentage this โคseason.
