Insults, death threats, slaps and strangulations
Rapper Moha La Squale was sentenced to four years in prison, including one year suspended, for violence, repeated death threats and kidnapping on six former companionswhich occurred between January 2017 and November 2021. Before his conviction, the artist, aged 30, had already served two and a half years of pre-trial detention.
During the trial, the victims, whose first complaints dated back to 2020, took the stand one after the other to denounce very similar facts. โFirst psychological violence: insults, humiliating remarks and death threats. Then physical acts: slaps, hair pulling, strangulation and suffocation with a pillow,โ the prosecutor listed.
After having denied it for a long time, even claiming to be the victim of a conspiracy by women who wanted to take advantage of his notoriety and his money since his meteoric rise to fame, Moha La Squale finally apologized: โI would like to apologize to all the complainants for the harm I may have done,โ he declared, before concluding: โI hope you will give me one last chance. ยป
