Texoma Community Credit Union’s “Tree of life” Supports Local Residents in Need
WICHITA FALLS,โ Texasโ (December 6, 2025) – texoma โฃCommunity Credit Unionโข (TCCU) is once again partnering with Adult Protective Services (APS) for their annual “Tree โคof Life” program, providing โฃholiday assistance to individuals served by APS.For nearly two decades,the program has connected communityโฃ generosity with those facing hardship.
Eachโค ornament โขdisplayed on the “Tree of โLife” represents a client of APS, symbolizing aโ specific needโฃ or wish. This year, approximately 100-110 individuals are represented โon theโ tree.APS caseworkers have worked directly with each client throughout the year,โค ensuring the wishes reflectedโฃ on the โornaments are โgenuine and impactful.
“Theโ TCCU Tree of Life has beenโ a tremendous support to our community for almost 20 years,” stated Sharon Mere, a supervisor with Adult Protective Services. “It allows us โคto provide a โฃlittle extra joy to individuals who may otherwise have no โgifts this holiday season.”
The program offers donors โthe opportunity to directly fulfill a specific need,ranging from everyday essentialsโข like shampoo and slippers to items for beloved pets.
Lauren McKechnie, โฃVice President of Marketing at TCCU, emphasized the credit union’s commitment to community support. “We’ve been โขconducting the Tree of โคLife program for over 15 years, โand it’s aโข core part of our mission to give back to the communities we serve,” โshe said. “It’s โincredibly rewarding to witness โฃthe positive impact this partnership has on our neighbors.”
Community members interested in participating can โคadopt anโ ornament and donate items at anyโค TCCU โbranch located on Southwest โฃParkway or Sheppard Access road. Donations will โฃbe accepted until December 15th.
