New York, NY โ- Broadcast legendโข Bryant Gumbel is expected to fully recover after being hospitalized last week following a medicalโข issue, a source familiar with the situation confirmed to page Six.โข The 77-year-old former “Today” hostโ was transported from his Manhattan apartment to โa hospital on October 20.
While the nature of the โฃmedical emergency remains undisclosed, the source stated, “He’s not dyingโฆHe’s expected to recover.” As of Wednesday, Gumbel remained hospitalized, and a family member told TMZ he was “OK.” It isโ believed he may โคhave been discharged as earlyโค asโฃ Thursday.
