Agustรญn Coppel, who has held the dual roles of President and General Director as 2008, will be stepping down from his position as General Director. Taking over as the new General Director is Diego Coppel Sullivan. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the overall operation of the group, encompassing Coppel stores, Banco Coppel, and Afore Coppel. His mandate includes establishing and implementing strategy, coordinating the executive team, and ensuring the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives.
Diego Coppel shared his vision for the company, stating, “We are consolidating a physical and digital ecosystem that better responds to our clients’ needs in a competitive surroundings that demands significant speed and focus. I will accompany this transformation from a new role, but with the same commitment as always: working closely with the team and focusing on the client.”

Diego Coppel Sullivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tecnolรณgico de monterrey and an MBA from IE Business School in Spain. He has a strong background within the company, having served in operational and commercial roles since 2010. His experience includes working in stores, distribution centers, and various categories, and also leading the commercial Directorate for Furniture, Digital, and Marketing.
