In Pomerania, work begins to build a road to the “Lubiatowo-Kopalino” nuclear power plant. The investment is to be commissioned within four years, and its cost is PLN 200 million. The route will also be of key importance in the tourist season, being a convenient alternative to travel to the Baltic.
- The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a contract for the design and construction of a national road to the nuclear power plant.
- It is a 15-kilometer section from provincial road No. 213 to the ลฤczyce junction on the S6 expressway.

The General Directorate points out that the investment:
- will improve the safety of drivers,
- will reduce the negative impact of transport on the environment, including the living conditions of the local community,
- It will reduce the level of noise, vibrations and the amount of pollutants emitted by transport.
What’s more, the surface will be adapted to the traffic of vehicles with a pressure of 11.5 t per axle.
