Alsace Groups Unite to Tackle Rising Neuro-Cardiovascular Disease Rates
Free Public Conference on Stroke and Heart Failure
Mulhouse, France – Residents of alsace are invited to a free public conference addressing the growing concern of neuro-cardiovascular diseases – specifically stroke and heart failure – on Thursday, September 25th, from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at the Training Institute in the Health Trades (IFSI), located at 2 rue du-Dr-Léon-Mangeney in Mulhouse. The event, co-organized by Alsace-Cardio and Alsace AVC68, aims to raise awareness and provide information about these critical health issues.
The conference will feature presentations from leading medical professionals. Dr. Laurence Baldenweck, a cardiologist with the hospital group in the Mulhouse region and Sud-Alsace (GHRMSA), will speak at 6:30 p.m., followed by Dr. Andreas Fickl, a neurologist colleague, at 7:00 p.m. The event is open to all members of the public.
Community Outreach Campaign Underway
In addition to the conference, volunteers from Alsace AVC68, with support from Alsace Cardio, are conducting a series of outreach events throughout September and November to educate the community about risk factors associated with neuro-cardiovascular disease. Upcoming activities include participation in the cyclo-tour of the potassium basin on September 7th, an Amaelles outing on September 14th, and an event in the streets of Brunstatt on September 21st. October will see activities for Heart Day in Colmar on the 17th,a health march in Kingersheim on the 19th,and World Stroke Day events on October 28th at GHR Mulhouse Sud-Alsace,October 30th at UGECAM in Colmar,and October 31st at MGEN three ears. The campaign will conclude with an intervention at the central house in Ensisheim on november 7th.
