Gabriela ‘N’, a nurse, has been arrested in Oaxaca, Mexico, in connection with the death of 52-year-old Roberto Hernández, who was struck and dragged for over a kilometer by a vehicle in the Iztapalapa borough of Mexico City on January 3, 2026.
The Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México (FGJCDMX) announced the arrest on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, stating Gabriela ‘N’ is being investigated for aggravated homicide. According to the FGJCDMX, the investigation began immediately following the incident, with authorities analyzing video footage, conducting interviews and performing forensic analysis to reconstruct the events.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Eje 6 Sur and Periférico Oriente in Iztapalapa. Investigators determined that Hernández, riding a motorcycle, was hit by a car driven by Gabriela ‘N’. Instead of stopping, the driver continued, dragging Hernández along the road until his death.
Following the analysis of evidence, authorities identified Gabriela ‘N’ as the driver and obtained an arrest warrant. She was located in the municipality of Heroica Ciudad de Ejutla de Crespo, Oaxaca, and apprehended with the assistance of the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de Oaxaca (FGJEO). Gabriela ‘N’ has been transferred to the Centro Femenil de Reinserción Social Santa Martha Acatitla, where her legal status will be determined.
