KIMBERLEY, WA – Authorities have called off the active groundโ search โfor Mark Sear, who went missing in the Kimberley โคregion of Western Australia. The search, which involved โextensive air adn land resources, was suspended after several weeks ofโข challenging conditions.
Westernโฃ Australian Premier Roger โคCook praised the efforts of WA Police officers and State โEmergency Service (SES) โvolunteers who dedicated their time and energy to locating Mr.Sear. “I want to sincerely thank every one of the โขWA Police officers and SESโค volunteers who dedicated their time andโ energy to the search for Mr Sear,” Cook โsaid. “All our thoughts are with his family during this tough time.”
The search covered more than 600โค square kilometres of harsh terrain, with temperatures peaking in the mid to high 30sโ Celsius during the operation. Local police,rangers,and theโข Perth tactical Response Group participated,utilizing both aerial and ground teams.
