Missouriโค quarterback Beau Pribula will miss an undetermined amountโ of time with an injury sustained during Saturday’s โgame against Vanderbilt,โ the team announced. The injury, the nature of which has not been disclosed, occurred during the second quarter of the 31-17โ lossโข atโข FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pribula transferred to Missouri from penn State last December and won the starting quarterback job followingโฃ an injury โคto Brady Horn in August. He started eightโ games forโ the โขTigers, averaging 210.6 passing yards per game with 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions, completing 70% of his โpasses. He alsoโ rushed for 27.5 yards โper game. Hisโข absence creates uncertainty at the quarterback position for Missouri as it navigates the โremainder โขof its season.
While theโข severity and specific timeline for Pribula’s return remain unclear, Missouri officials indicated the โขinjury is not expected to be career-ending. Despite being listed as a graduate student, Pribula retains โone year of eligibility.
“I’m hurt for him, you know? I’ve been in that situation,” Mizzou center Connor Tollison said Saturday afterโ the โgame. “It’s not fun.You never know when your last play could be orโ (when) yourโค next play willโค be. So, just sad to see that happen.”
Matt Zollers replaced Pribula against Vanderbilt, completing 10 of 19 passes for 139 yards and one interception.
