Puerto Rico โคFails to Advance to Top 5 at Missโ Universe 2025 in Thailand
The hopesโ of โคPuertoโ Ricoโ securing a historic โwin at the Miss Universe 2025 โcompetition โคwere dashed Saturday night as the island’s representative did โคnot advance to the top 5 โfinalistsโค during the event held in Thailand. โฃThis marks theโ end of a run for theโ title, despite puerto Rico’s eighth consecutive qualification in the history ofโ the contest.
The 73rdโ edition of the pageant saw the crowning โฃof a new Miss Universe, who received the Luzโข del Infinito tiara-or Lumiรจreโค de l’Infini-first presented last year in Mexico. The judging panel included Miss Universe 2020,Andrea Meza,Venezuelan model and businesswoman Sharon โFonseca,Brazilian painter โฃRomero Britto,Cuban journalist and writer Ismael Cala,Indian โbadmintonโฃ player โSaina Nehwal,Miss thailand 1998,Chalida Thaochalee,and Filipino singer Louie Heredia.
Theโ competition featured 122 candidates vying for the coveted title.
