President **Prabowo Subianto** is closely following the investigation into the death of a young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whose body was discovered in a boarding house in Central Jakarta. State Secretary **Prasetyo Hadi** confirmed the President’s attention to the case, deferring to law enforcement for the inquiry.
Investigation Underway
The probe into the passing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official is actively proceeding, with police recently receiving forensic laboratory results. According to AKBP **Reald Simanjuntak**, spokesperson for the Public Relations Division of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, these findings are currently being synchronized with other evidence to establish the definitive facts of the case.
“The Labfor results for the diplomat case are still undergoing synchronization. All evidence is being gathered to ascertain the actual facts,” **Reald Simanjuntak** stated. He added that the Directorate of General Crimes would release the comprehensive findings to the public once finalized.
Discovery and Initial Findings
The body of the diplomat, identified as ADP, was found on Tuesday, August 7th, at 8:30 AM WIB by a boarding house supervisor. Reports indicate the victim was discovered with his face encased in plastic wrap and secured with yellow duct tape. The previous evening, ADP was reportedly seen on the rooftop of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building before his body was found in his Menteng boarding residence.
The Metro Jaya Regional Police have pledged a thorough investigation, employing scientific criminal investigation methods, often referred to as *scientific investigation*, to unravel the circumstances surrounding ADP’s death. This approach aims to ensure a rigorous and evidence-based inquiry.
