Just one year after its launch, the BYD M6 electric MPV has quickly established a presence in Indonesia’s used car market. With over 10,000 units delivered to consumers, the demand for this EV continues to be robust.

Pre-Owned BYD M6 Valued Between Rp 370-390 Million

Online used car platforms reveal that the BYD M6 is fetching prices between Rp 370 million and Rp 390 million. One example shows a model with 11,000 km on the odometer listed for Rp 379 million, while another with 18,000 km is priced higher at Rp 390 million, likely due to its six-seater configuration.

New BYD M6 Variants Priced from Rp 383 Million

For those considering a brand-new BYD M6, prices start at Rp 383 million for the Standard variant. The lineup also includes the Superior model at Rp 423 million and the top-tier Superior Captain variant, which commands Rp 433 million.

BYD M6: Battery Options and Performance

The BYD M6 utilizes the company’s Blade Battery technology, offering two capacity options. The standard version features a 55.4 kWh battery, enabling a range of 420 km and accommodating seven passengers. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, with DC charging capability at 89 KW and AC charging at 7 KW.

Higher-spec Superior and Superior Captain variants are equipped with a larger 71.8 kWh battery. The Superior Captain offers a six-seat layout, while the Superior is a seven-seater. These variants boast an extended range of 530 km and achieve 0-100 km/h in a quicker 8.6 seconds. Charging for these models is supported by DC up to 115 KW and AC at 7 KW.

In comparison, the global electric vehicle market saw a 16% increase in sales in the first quarter of 2024, highlighting the growing consumer interest in electric mobility worldwide (IEA, 2024).
