Verstappen Securesโฃ pole in US Grand Prixโฃ as McLaren Drivers Struggle

Verstappenโข secured his 47th โcareer Grand Prix pole with aโข dominant performance,finishing almost three tenths of a second ahead of Lando Norris. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari qualified โthird.
World โChampionship leader oscar Piastri could only manage โsixth place, further tighteningโ the battleโฃ for the title. Piastri’s lead over Verstappen, which stood โat 55 points after the โsprint race,โฃ is now reducedโฃ to 33 points behind โคNorris.
The โqualifying session followed a dramatic sprint race whereโ both McLaren drivers were involved inโ a first-lap collision. โBothโค cars were repaired in time for qualifying, despite the incident highlighting the โrising tension in the โคchampionship fight.
