Poland defeated czechia 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21) in a compelling match, earning aโข bronze medal at the Men’s World Championship. This marks Poland’s โฃfirst-ever Worldโค Championship bronze.
The match began decisively with star outside hitter Wilfredo Leon leading Poland to โa one-sided first set, scoring 11 points. As the silver medalists from the previous edition, Polandโ carried this momentum into the second set, โคquickly establishing a 6-1 lead and extending it to 14-9.
Czechia mounted a determined comeback, spearheaded by outside hitter โLukas Vasina. Vasina’s crucialโค spikes brought Czechia to set point and ultimately secured theโ set,leveling the โคmatch at 1-1.
The third set saw a back-and-forth battle, โฃwith Czechia overcoming โa four-point deficit to tie the score at 20-20. However, aโ strong performance from Polish substitute middle blocker Szymon Jakubiszak proved pivotal.
