COLLEGE STATION, TX – Texas A&M safety Bryce โคAnderson did โคnotโ sustain a “catastrophicโ injury” following a collision during โSaturday’s 41-40 victory over Notre Dame, the university announced.Andersonโฃ was immobilized on a backboard and transported โคoff the field with a neck brace after โattempting a tackle late โขin the second quarter. He reportedly gave a thumbs-up to โฃthe crowd as medical personnel attended to him.
The Aggies confirmed Anderson traveled home with โขthe team Saturday night andโค has undergone further evaluation.”We are thankful toโค report โคthat no catastrophic injury was found,” the team stated. “Bryce is in โคgreat spirits, and our focusโฃ is now on supporting him โthrough his recovery. Accordingโค to the Austin American-Statesman, Anderson had โคfeeling in his limbs followingโฃ the game. The dramaticโ win saw โthe No. 10 Aggies defeat No. 24 Notre โDame onโ a last-second touchdown pass from Marcel Reed with just 13 seconds remaining.
Anderson has recorded 10 โtackles this season.โ In 2023,the โsenior safety totaled 24 tackles and one pick-six over 13 games. Throughout his career, he has amassed 116 tackles, 14โฃ tackles for loss, and two interceptions.
