Wailuku first Friday to Host Special Edition with Maui Comicโข Conโค on November 7
Wailuku โขtown will transform into a hub of art, music, and pop culture on Friday,โ November 7, 2025,โค as Wailuku First Friday partners withโ Maui Comic Con for a โฃunique event running from 6 to 9 p.m. The free, family-friendly street festival regularly celebrates Maui’s communityโฃ and culture, and thisโค month will add a vibrant “mini” Maui Comic Con experience for residents and visitors.
The collaboration is made possibleโ by sponsorships from Maui Comics & โCollectibles, Wailuku โCoffee Company,โ Requestโ Music, Pukalani Superette, mystery Maui Escapeโ Rooms, Luk Town Shows, and Painted Deer Tattoo.
Attendees can enjoy live music on the Market Street Stage, beginning with aโ performance by Leimana purdy, the 2024 Carmen โHulu Lindsey Leo Ha’iha’i Falsetto champion, followed byโ a set from Piสปilani Arias. A silent โauction benefiting Maui Comic Con, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will be held inside Wailuku Coffeeโข company.
The event will also feature a meet-and-greet with Disney artist James Silvani for comic signings, an Artist Alleyโฃ within the Wailukuโ Municipal Parkingโ Garage showcasing localโข talent including Shane Molina, Noble Richardson, and Aaron Nakahara, and the Nightโ Darling Cosplay Showcase โat 7:30 p.m.,with sign-ups beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Free parking will be availableโฃ after 6 p.m. in the Wailuku Municipal Parking Garage, accessible from Church Street between Vineyard and Main Streets. Market Street willโ close to vehicular traffic at 5:30 p.m., with vehicles remaining on the street after that time subjectโ to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
Wailuku First Friday is presented with support from the County of Maui, Hawai’i Tourismโฃ Authority, Kilohana by the โHawaiian Council, and KPOA 93.5 FM.
