CSKA Sofia โanalyst Martin Stoyanov hasโ been โreleased from โคhis positionโค with the first team, effective April 29, โข2025, according to reports from Telegraph Match. The decision was made by โฃCSKA manager Hristo โYanev.
Stoyanov arrived at CSKA alongside recently dismissedโ Dusan Kerkez, and his โฃdeparture marks a shift in analytical responsibilities within the โclub.Yanev stated that the team’s headquarters will now โhandle โanalysis duties. However, Stoyanov will remain with CSKA, โtransitioning toโ a role within the club’s academy.
Stoyanov’sโ career includes โฃa long association with CSKA, beginning as a player inโค their school from 2002 to 2008. โHe gained experience in the UK with Loreto Collegeโข and Stockport Dainamus before returning to the CSKA school as an assistant coach in late 2020. He served as an assistant โคfor the under-19 and under-15 teams during the 2021/22 season.
He briefly joined Alanโ Pardew’s headquarters in April 2022, remaining until June of โคthat year, after which heโข movedโ to the Academy. In 2023, โขStoyanov worked with โCSKA 1948โ as an analyst and โassistant coach, โคand โfrom โฃJanuary 2024, he was at the September School while also assisting the women’s national team. Prior to his recent return to CSKA,โ he was โan analyst for Botev Plovdivโ under Kerkez, beginning in June 2024.
