forward DeWanna Bonnerโฃ plans to โutilize her time at home before heading overseas, working on projects with Kayelise Beauty. “Actually, it’s great that I’ll be able to be home just for a fewโ monthsโฃ before I head โคoverseas. So definately some stuff [with Kayelise Beauty] in the works, definitely โขgoing โฃto be coming out with some thingsโค and just using this time at home to โขreally take full advantage โof being able to work onโ the projects that I want,” Bonner told โreporters.
Guard Lindsay Allen and forward/guard haley Petersโ will also continue their basketball careers internationally. Bothโ are currentlyโข exploring offers but anticipate a break from the WNBA season. Forward Alyssa Thomas is looking forward to spendingโข time โคwith family and enjoying home-cooked meals. “I’m looking forward to resting and spending some time with some family. Obviously, being in Connecticut, I can’t be under โคmy family every day, can’t get the home cooked meals every day. I have to โcook โขfor myself. So [I’m] looking forward toโฆ getting a home cooked meal, [and to] get loved on โby my family,” Thomas explained.
The Connecticut Sun concluded their season aiming to return next year as an improved team andโ contend for a playoff โberth.
