ABU DHABI – The UAE Cabinet has approved a new savings and investment scheme for private sector employees in the UAE, including free zones. Companies can decide whether to participate in this private sector-led initiative.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. A certain amount will be taken from the salary of the workers who are interested in joining the scheme every month and will be invested in various schemes that generate income.

The income from this will be given to the workers. Apart from this, it is also intended to invest the employees’ service benefits in such a way that they will benefit financially. The aim is to protect workers’ savings and ensure that they invest safely. This investment will be a relief to the workers at a time when the work is insufficient. Fujairah – A Malayali diver has gone missing in the sea. Anil Sebastian (32), a native of Thrissur Atat, went missing while cleaning the bottom of the ship. Anil has been diving for over 10 years and is one of the best divers in India. Anil was a supervisor in the adventurous job of cleaning inside the bottom (hull) of ships anchored at sea. Only expert divers are allowed to do this dangerous job.

Anil entered the ship’s hull on Sunday. And Anil himself took the job because those who were working had less work experience. When Anil did not return to the surface even after the stipulated time, the ship authorities sought the help of the Fujairah Police. The relatives got the information that Anil was caught in the ship of Aeris Marine owned by a Malayali businessman. Police divers and Fujairah Coast Guard are conducting the return.

Anil’s body is kept alive by an oxygen cylinder attached to him. Hazards lurking in the hull include the action of any machinery capable of pulling inward, the body becoming trapped somewhere inside the ship, and becoming entangled in any object such as a net. The concern is whether any of these things happened to Anil.

It is not yet known which part of the ship Anil is on. A Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) is used in such situations to deliver a search. the

Anil lives in Fujairah with his wife Tessie and 4-year-old son.
