Family claims constant abuse led to ITI student’s death in Thiruvananthapuram

A distressing incident has shaken Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram, where an 18-year-old ITI student was found dead in her home. Her family alleges that persistent harassment and verbal abuse from neighbors drove the young woman to take her own life.

Tragic Discovery

The victim, identified as Anusha, daughter of Aju and Sunita, was discovered in her residence in Venniyoor. The family reported that Anusha had been experiencing significant emotional distress due to ongoing issues with those living nearby.

Anusha‘s father stated that his daughter had called him, distraught, prior to the incident. He recounted rushing to her side, but tragically, she had already died by the time he arrived. The police have initiated an unnatural death investigation into the matter.

The young student was reportedly preparing to attend classes at the ITI. Vizhinjam Police have confirmed they are looking into the family’s allegations of harassment as part of their ongoing investigation.
