The program, spearheaded by the Malambo Mayor’s Office, provides specialized nutritional support โคtailored to the needs ofโค the aging population. Recognizing the increased vulnerability of seniorsโข toโฃ malnutritionโค – which can โleadโข to weakened immune systems, increased hospitalizations, and diminished overall well-being – the local government has โprioritized this intervention. The nutrition plan includes the delivery of fortified food baskets and regular โmonitoring of participants’ โhealth status.
