Books – Muhammad Shaker:
Egyptian artist Ahmed Adam revealed a deep connection to the natural world, stating he dedicates a important portion of his time to studying wildlife through documentaries on channels like National Geographic and Discovery. He expressed particular fascination with the complex behavior of ants, playfully referring to them as “crazy, my mother!”
During an appearance on the “Critical Questions” program, hosted by Majdi Al-jallad, editor-in-chief of Una Media Group (which includes Masrawy, Yalla Koura, The Congress, and Cheft), Adam pondered the amazing feats of nature. “What compels a small fish like sardines to swim 3,000 kilometers against the current to spawn in freshwater and then return?” he asked, emphasizing the inherent laws governing such phenomena.
He continued with enthusiasm, marveling at the navigational abilities of birds. “As for birds, my brotherโฆ Glory be to God, a small head is a plane with us; they know north and south and directions!”
The interview, the third episode of “Critical Questions” with journalist Magdy El-Jallad, covered a range of topics including Adam’s career and political views. He also shared previously untold anecdotes about colleagues, including a poignant story about the late actor Farouk el-Fishawi,and performed a song live on air for the first time.
