Febles detailed providing financial support to Martínez when she was crowned in 2021, believing the beauty queen lacked adequate resources for preparation.
The financial strain of supporting Martínez, according to Febles, led to the loss of her apartment. she also expressed hurt over subsequent criticism from Martínez,stating there had been a positive connection between them. Febles further disclosed a separate $50,000 investment in a television program intended to feature the former miss RD, a project Martínez ultimately declined to participate in.
