Boston Unveils Inaugural ‘Frostival’ – Aโฃ Citywide Festivity of Winter
BOSTON – โคBoston is launching its โฃfirst-ever citywide winter festival,โ “Boston Frostival,” beginning this November, bringing a mix of โnew โevents โคand beloved seasonal traditions to transform the city โฃinto aโ winter โwonderland. The month-long celebrationโ aims to reimagine the winter experience in Boston,offeringโ residents and visitors a diverse range of activities from drone โshows to wine festivals.
The initiative comes as โcities across the Northeast seek โto maximize engagement during the colder months. Boston Frostival combines iconic experiencesโข like ice skating atโ Frog Pond, the Boston Common โtree lighting, and Holiday pops concertsโฃ with four brand โnew events designed to draw crowds and boost the local economy.
Bostonโค Frostival will feature a lineup of events throughout the winter season. New additions include weekly drone shows over Boston Common, illuminatingโ the sky every Saturday night from November 29 through Decemberโ 20.โข Copley Square will โขhost a โฃwinter activation from February 6-28,coinciding with the winter games in Milan,offering an immersiveโ seasonal experience. A Ferris wheel will be erectedโ on the Rose Kennedy Greenway throughout February, providing panoramic โcity views, and the inaugural Femme Fรชte Wine Festival will celebrate women winemakersโฃ onโ February 28 at the Cyclorama.
Returning favorites include ice skating at Frog Pond, the annual Boston Common tree lighting, โgames at TD Garden, and the popular Snowport holiday market.
