Kudrjavtevo, Russia – Images geolocalizedโ by the self-reliant military analysis group Cyberboroshno reveal the deployment of 9M723 robots near Kudrjavtevo, โคKaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The โฃrobots, possessing aโ range of 500โข kilometers, are capable of beingโ equipped with nuclear weapons, according to news reports.
The deployment coincides with the ongoing joint Russian-Belarusian military exercise, Zapad-25, โฃwhich began โคlast Friday and is scheduledโฃ to conclude Tuesday. Defense Express reports the systems wereโ likely positioned as part ofโฃ this exercise. The 500-kilometer range of the robots โplaces areas of theโ Baltic states, Poland, the Danish island of Bornholm, and parts of sweden within โฃpotential reach, including the Swedishโ island of Gotland and mainland cities like Karlskrona and Vรคxjรถ.
Joakim Paasikivi, formerโ Lieutenant Colonel and senior geopolitical advisor at โขmannheimer swartling, โstated, “The only thing โขthat is surprising about them is that people are surprising.” He characterizedโค the deployment as consistent with Russian exercises and signaling directed at NATO, adding, “They think that we are the threat, so thatโ theyโ do this isโ completely consistent.”
