CRYSTAL FALLS, MI – Motocross racing is coming to the Upper Peninsula in a meaningful way, as Valley Raceway prepares to host the first-ever UP 2-Stroke Championship and the AMA U.P. State Championship motocross races on August 23rd and 24th. The event is expected to draw competitors and spectators from across the Midwest.
Valley Raceway, located at N6959 US-2, Crystal Falls, has been a local hub for motocross enthusiasts for several years, hosting weekly races and events. Though, this weekend marks the first time the track will play host to a championship-level competition sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).
The UP 2-Stroke Championship will specifically cater to motorcycles powered by two-stroke engines, a classic and increasingly popular style of racing known for its lightweight and aggressive performance. This event aims to celebrate the heritage of two-stroke technology while providing a dedicated platform for riders specializing in this discipline. The AMA U.P.
