Boy Found Decomposed in Sack in Kings Peace, State of Mexico; Three Arrested
Los Reyes La Paz, State of Mexico – Authorities in the municipality of Los Reyes La Paz, State of Mexico, are investigating the death of Fernando, a minor whose body was discovered inside a sack on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. The revelation prompted the arrest of three individuals, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
Police responded to a report and located the sack containing the remains. The body was already in an advanced state of decomposition, hindering immediate identification. The Attorney General of the State of Mexico was notified, and forensic personnel were dispatched to the scene.
The Forensic Medical Service will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Ministerial authorities secured the property where the body was found, though residents of the building were initially prevented from retrieving their belongings. One tenant reported being denied access after the property was sealed off, requesting only to be allowed to collect personal items.
The municipality of Los Reyes La Paz, led by Mayor Martha guerrero Sรกnchez, has expressed regret over the incident and pledged support to the victim’s mother. Mayor Guerrero Sรกnchez stated she shares the community’s outrage and offered solidarity to the family, emphasizing her role as a mother and a public official.
“As mayor,but above all,as a woman,mother of a family and as someone who today has a great obligation in Los Reyes La Paz,” she said in a statement.

The municipality of Los Reyes La Paz, located approximately 40 kilometers southwest of Mexico City, has a population of over 170,000 residents. While generally considered a suburban area, recent years have seen a rise in reported criminal activity, prompting increased calls for enhanced security measures.
