Minister โฃTahraouiโค Inspects healthcare Facilities in Rabat-Salรฉ-Kenitra Region
Minister of Healthโฃ and Social Protection,โ Amine Tahraoui, conducted a โขvisit to several healthcare facilities in the โขRabat-Salรฉ-Kenitra โregion on Thursday, September 11th, as part of a national initiative to modernize Morocco’s health system and ensure equitable access to quality care. the visit alignsโ with nationalโ priorities focused on improving health services for all โคcitizens.
During a tour of the moulay Youssef hospital โcenter in Rabat, Minister Tahraoui assessed the functionality of various departments, including inpatient care units, specialized medical services, and outpatient facilities. The focus wasโฃ on evaluating the quality of care providedโฃ and identifyingโค areas for โimprovementโ to enhance patient outcomes.
Preparations for the September 15th opening of a new resuscitation service at Moulay Youssefโฃ hospital were also reviewed. The unit is equipped with โeight state-of-the-art biomedical bedsโข and equipment, designed to increase capacity for critical care and alleviate pressure on other regional hospitals.
The Minister also followed up on ongoing health projects inโข Tรฉmara and โTamena. At the Lalla Aรฏcha hospital center in Tรฉmara, he examined service operations and ongoing efforts to improve the quality of careโ for the local population.
In Tamesna, Minister Tahraoui visitedโ the constructionโค site of the new โlocalโฃ hospital, currently nearing completion. The 80 million dirham facilityโค will โคprovide 45 beds โand is expectedโข to serve over 60,000 โresidents, considerably expanding healthcare access in the region.
Throughout the inspection tour,โฃ Minister Tahraoui emphasized the importance of adhering to โคproject timelines and maintainingโข rigorous technical standardsโ to guarantee the quality and long-term viability ofโฃ healthcare infrastructure. This visit is part of a broader national program dedicated to monitoring and supporting projects aimed at modernizing the health system and deliveringโค on ongoing reforms to benefit citizens.
