New York City, New York—Travel and Tour World (TTW) has released its annual ranking of the world’s top nightlife destinations, with Las Vegas claiming the number one spot in the Americas and Caribbean for 2026. The report, “TTW Reveals 50 Best Nightlife Travel Destinations in the Americas and Caribbean for 2026,” highlights a 5.2% year-on-year growth in nightlife tourism, driven by demand for live music, 24-hour bars, upscale nightclubs, and music festivals.
The research, published March 1, 2026, identifies a shift in urban tourism, with cities increasingly recognizing the economic impact of their nighttime economies. According to TTW, nightlife tourism is now a “significant contributor to the GDP of major cities” across the region.
Las Vegas dominates the list, lauded for its “24/7 entertainment,” while Miami’s South Beach parties and Tulum’s Instagram-driven beach venues too rank highly. Toronto secures a place among the top five, recognized for its multicultural festivals and underground party scene. Los Angeles, New York City, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, and Buenos Aires round out the top ten.
“Nightlife tourism is no longer an afterthought but a significant contributor to the GDP of major cities across the Americas,” said Anup Kumar Keshan, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of TTW. “From music-led tourism to event-based celebrations, destinations… leverage their nightlife ecosystems to attract international travellers and extend visitor spending well beyond daylight hours.”
The report notes that demand extends beyond younger generations, with business travelers also seeking immersive after-hours experiences. This trend is influencing itinerary design, destination branding, and urban development strategies.
TTW’s ranking of the top 50 destinations includes cities across Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and several Caribbean nations. Banff, Canada, appears at number 11, while several US cities, including Nashville, Austin, and Charleston, also feature prominently. Further down the list, destinations like San Salvador, El Salvador, and Mar del Plata, Argentina, demonstrate the broadening appeal of nightlife tourism across the region.
The report details specific venues within the top-ranked cities. In Las Vegas, Omnia Nightclub, XS Nightclub, and Hakkasan are highlighted as leading destinations. Miami’s LIV, Story, and Club Space are similarly recognized. TTW also provides safety information for each city, noting that Las Vegas maintains a “high” safety level with ample lighting and police patrols, while Miami requires caution and the use of reliable transportation.
